hi was just wondering if you don't have a period for 10 months and over the last few weeks if you think you are pregnant if you did a test whether because you haven't had periods whether it would affect the result

Sounds like maybe you should see a doctor.

um, i'm confuzzled as to what you mean? taking more than one test isn't going to change the result. if your pregnant you are, if your not your not. if the test says you are than more than likely you are. they can be wrong some times. but not that often. you should go see doctor.

If you were pregnant, believe me, you'd know about it well before 10 months was up after you'd last had a period. You'd have a 1-month-old baby on your hands. As for me, I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian syndrome, confirmed by my General Practitioner, so quite understandably, I tend not to have my own periods once every 4 weeks. Believe me, that isn't out of choice but it is out of my control. I'd go to your GP and check this isn't something a lot worse than for example, PCOS.

Um ... agree with everyone who said go see a doctor.
And, speaking of periods, is it normal for some people in their twenties to have really crazy cycles? Like, mine's not always regular. Just a couple of months ago, Aunt flow was around for two months instead of the usual week. I saw my primary care physician who also happens to be a gynocologist, and she just said to keep an eye on what's happening.

They'll do nothing for a good few months, to see if things settle down. then, roll on myriad testing! Keep a note of when your cycles occur, how long they last, and how heavy they are. When you next go back, take that with you.

i'm confused, i thought the first poster was saying that in the last 4 weeks or so, she thought she might be pregnant, but as she hasn't had a period for the last months anyway, would a test give an acurate result? i might be wrong. would agree that prob going to see a doctor is best. go see a male one, and make him sorry for what us women have to suffer that men don't even know or care about lol. just joking.
